On April 8^th 2025, GTT received an Approval in Principle (AiP) from Lloyd’s Register, a world-leading classification society, for the “NH₃-Ready” notation of its Mark III containment system on LNG-fuelled vessels and, more widely, for the tanks of LNG carriers (LNGCs), ethane carriers (VLECs), and bunkering vessels.
This innovation enhances the flexibility of LNG-powered vessels, enabling them to adopt or transport a lower-carbon energy alternative over their lifecycle. 
This AiP demonstrates the Group’s commitment to pioneering sustainable maritime solutions, empowering ship-owners and ship operators to adapt to evolving environmental regulations.
