GTT is participating in a consortium involving seven major marine industry players to collaborate in developing new levels of performance and environmental efficiency for container vessels. The consortium is led by Dubai based Zaitoun Green Shipping Ltd (ZGS).
Each member of the consortium has an important role in developing and building state-of-the-art container ships featuring the highest levels of efficiency. The goals of the consortium are closely linked to GTT’s own business philosophy aiming at improving efficiency, increasing performance, enhancing safety and minimising environmental impact.
In addition to ZGS and GTT, the other consortium companies, who are established experts in their respective fields, are: Wärtsilä, MacGregor Finland Oy (MCG), Carina Solutions (C4), Winterthur Gas & Diesel (WinGD) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries & Equipment (MHI-MME).
