GTT receives a new order from DSME for one LNGC for Chandris

Paris – 9 September 2015. GTT, the world leader in the design of membrane containment systems for the maritime transportation and storage of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), announces a new order, for one Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier (LNGC) to be built by the Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME). The new ship is expected to be delivered in 2018.

The LNGC, to be owned and operated by Chandris, will be equipped with NO96-GW technology, which allows an optimized boil-off rate for the LNG cargo.
